Homework Requirements

1. You will make a small Web site using PHP during this semester.
   
   
2. I prefer that you use Freehostia to host your site, but you may use any hosting service that you like. If you are going to use Freehostia, please see these intructions for getting started with Freehostia.
   
   
3. If you use Freehostia, you may use the FREE (Chocolate) account for the first part of this semester. Later in the semester, you will need to upgrade to a paid plan. I will let you know when the upgrade is needed.
   
   
4. In any case, you will need to have both
   1. A domain (Web site URL) and
   2. A hosting service for the Web site.
   
   
5. Each week's assignment will require you to update and expand this small Web site.
   
   
6. PLEASE NOTE: Starting with Assignment 2, you will be making additional pages for your site. You may use any navigation links that you want, but you will be required to put some HTML links on your index.php page, which allow someone to navigate to all of these additional pages.
   
   
7. Your updated pages for each homework assignment should be uploaded to your hosting service by noon (12:00pm) of the date due.
   
   
8. I will usually grade the assignments in the evening of the due date.
